Parenting Support
Support for parents exploring emotional and behavioural challenges with their children.
About The Service
What's Involved
Parenting Support provides a space to reflect on the interaction patterns and emotional experiences that may be arising within family life. This work focuses on understanding both your child’s experience and the ways in which communication, expectations and boundaries may be shaping responses within the family.
In sessions we explore what has felt difficult in parenting, how patterns of behaviour have developed, and what changes might support a calmer and more connected environment. The emphasis is on understanding rather than judgement, creating room to think through the challenges and consider what might feel more helpful for everyone involved.

When To Visit

FAQs
I offer a free 30-minute telephone consultation so you can ask questions, share what’s on your mind, and get comfortable with me before committing. If we decide to move forward, we’ll typically start with an initial block of 4–6 sessions. That lets us explore your hopes for therapy, build a plan together, and begin making meaningful changes. After those sessions we’ll review progress and discuss next steps.
I specialise in working with couples, families, individuals, and provide parenting support when needed. Whether you’re dealing with relationship struggles, parenting challenges, individual stress or family dynamics, I tailor therapy to fit your situation.
Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. Many begin with 4–6 sessions to see how things feel and whether the approach works for them. After that, we’ll check in together — if you’re finding value, we continue; if not, we re-evaluate or adjust the plan. This flexibility helps you move at a pace feels safe and effective.
Yes. All therapy sessions are conducted in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space — what’s shared with me stays between us unless there’s a legal or ethical requirement otherwise. The goal is to support you to express yourself freely and safely.
